This project involved complete renovation and modification to this heritage property on the shores of Lake Macquarie undertaken for carste STUDIO.
The house had been insensitively altered and adapted over the years and the new owners wanted to restore everything and alter it to better suit their own lifestyles.
The ground floor billiards room was altered to become a master bedroom suite, with the slates from the table repurposed as workbenches for the laundry and a hearthstone for the sitting room fireplace.
The internal planning was completely reconfigured in order to improve the position and outlook of each of the living spaces.
